Design and Fabrication
Malin Marine offer a complete turnkey service to clients that require design and fabrication of a structure, component or device. We regularly work with a number of specialist fabricators and service providers to realise our bespoke designs. These services are of particular interest to our clients in that they allow them the complete freedom to specify the functional requirements of a product, receive a fixed price quote for the work, where scope is well defined, and then merely monitor progress while MMC deals with suppliers, test houses, fabricators, manages design queries and project manages the delivery of the full package.
Serving the heavylift sector we have designed and built specialist lifting appliances ranging from specialist strand jack devices, lifting clevis plates and bespoke lifting beams. In addition we have supplied these items complete with certification and all ancillary rigging required for their operation. We have designed, tested and supplied winch seats and transportation cradles for a wide variety of uses and functional requirements.
We are also used to serving vessel conversions by designing and supplying, direct to the nominated yard, platforms, seats, hatch covers ready for immediate installation in a cost effective manner.
Whatever the size of the project, MMC can demonstrate ability to effectively manage design and fabrication contracts with values ranging between several thousand pounds to recent work well in excess of £4 million pounds.
